T'was a beautiful morning....

We have already had our first "snow" here on the mountain. It lasted all of maybe three minutes but it was still snow.  I actually think we got it here before my father did up in New York.  However I wasnt able to get any pictures of it.

I did get a couple shots in the next morning of the melting frost that was in our yard.

This was the beautiful sky the day of the snow.

A ride to remember.

He has listen for a few years to me griping that my cameras don't take pictures of things the way I see them. All that changed last week when he bought me my Nikon and so did my pictures, the way I sounded when I actually got a pic of the moon made him chuckle and happy that my dream came true.

He called yesterday on his lunch break and said to have Elijah dressed and ready to ride when he got home from work because we were going riding so I could start shooting.  Now mind you I am totally clueless to this new world before me, I guess you could call it the world of DSLR...lol  All I have figured out so far is how to look through the view finder and click away.  I know I have lots and lots to learn and I'm an egar student.

We knew the ride was over when I looked into the back seat and saw this,

Hello world!

What was that old tune, something about a Nikon camera?  My brain cells just don't allow me to remember such things anymore.

But anyway, I finally own a Nikon camera and am addicted to snapping pictures of this beautiful world around me.

So welcome to my journey through life, as I now see it through my view finder!
